Anita Agnihotri's collection of stories 'Seventeen' was awarded the 'Crossword Economist award of 2011'.

She has been invited to several literary meets including Jaipur Literature Festival, Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival, Kendriya Sahitya Academy literary Conferences, and to the Stockholm book Fair to read from her Novel 'Mahuldiha days', which was translated into Swedish by a young Norwegian poet Joar Tiberg.
